A few days ago someone recommended to me two TV series (of course, what else?) which, judging by their titles, might effectively be based in my own life.
But, hey, no. They are stories starred by guys, totally different from me.
They have lives.
Anyhow, I followed those suggestions and downl...erm, I mean, waited to see them on HBO and BBC 3, as God commands, yes.
One of them it's HBO's "Bored to death", the "American" one (I hate to use the term "American" to refer to the US people and things but I am writing in English after all).
Loved that one. I finished watching season one in, I don't know, two days? must've been. I don't remember watching something so eagerly since the day I discovered House MD when it was on its 4th season finale.
"Bored to death" is about the life of Jonathan Ames, a lousy writer, left by his lovely girlfriend because of his addictive hobbies. A guy who works as a journalist in a really cool magazine with a even cooler boss (played by a great Ted Danson) who finds out that being a private detective could really make his nights more interesting. And profitable. And of course, there's the weird friend with a weird girlfriend, NY in autumn and excellent storyline.
Here you can watch some official trailers.
And here there's the HBO official website.
Please, give it a try. It's great. You won't regret it.
On the other hand I must say, "How not to live your life", the British one, has not reached my expectations and I am certainly not going to go into trouble linking websites, videos or torrent fil..., I mean posting pages of the British TV Guide (or whatever they have up there) for you to have a first look.
Have a nice Sunday.
And please come back sometime.
